STRATEGY’S GOODFAIR RETAIL CAMPAIGN FOR TAVCOR VOLKSWAGEN
After the successful move from their 66-year-old premises on Mount Road to their new state-of-the-art dealership on William Moffett,
Tavcor Volkswagen wanted to give back to their customers, to thank them for their loyalty.
Strategy was asked to develop a family day event that launched a call-to-action campaign that would offer incredible deals during the month of April.
Whilst brainstorming the idea, we found that there was an opportunity to do good.... real good.
The concept of the campaign was centered around giving back to Tavcor’s customers and their community, and out of that the GoodFair was born.
For every car sold in the month of April, Tavcor would donate R500 to their charity, Miracle Kids.
What we loved about the campaign was that it was authentically Tavcor; one that truly celebrated what Tavcor stands for - a premium family business that values their customers and understands their role as a responsible business within their community.
The response to GoodFair was incredible with 160 vehicles sold during April, and a cheque of R80 000,00 handed over to Miracle Kids, proving that doing good in business is good for business!
